Every Saturday, for years after, theaters would show The Rocky Horror Picture Show followed by The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. It really became a cult movie when I was living in New York. I think they shot it in about 60 days for a budget of about $18 million. It took them about an hour to put the mask on me. and I had to wear a mask because I played an alien, a Lectroid. We were shooting at a power plant in south L.A.
